Gino the Neutrino is a 2D slideside educational game designed for kids, where the player controls a neutrino called Gino, a tiny subatomical particle, during his journey across the universe.

While traveling, the neutrino will meet other particles: their encounter will result in a “weak interaction“, that will lead Gino to merge within them, creating a brand new particle, the W boson.

Gino’s goal is to explore as much universe as possible without interacting with another particle and thus decaying.

Starting his journey from the Sun, will Gino be able to visit the wonderful planetes like Mercury, Venus, Earth, and explore the whole cosmos? It depends on you!

Gameplay

Gino is a solar neutrino, starting its journey to explore our Galaxy and the whole Universe from the Sun.

Gino, being a neutrino, has a natural tendency to oscillate in flavour! It can have electronic (green), muonic (yellow) or taunonic (red) flavour; if it hits one leptonic particle of the same flavour, it may end its journey in a big explosion, decaying into a new, fatter W boson!

You must help him avoiding the green, fluffy electron when Gino is green, the stylish yellow muon when Gino is yellow, and the punk red taun when Gino is red!

But Gino may encouter some mysterious new friends during its journey! What will they bring with them? Let’s find out!
